How are we doing?

So I'm thinking...

Another Amazing Day

Yesterday’s rain didn’t dampen our teams’ spirit. In Calgary, we joined up with the Salvation Army to collect donations. Some street teams expanded their Acts of Kindness to include giving out umbrellas to commuters, in addition to bus tickets, candy canes, and coffee. Another team managed to get two days’ worth of chores in half the time at Community Living Toronto, a centre for people with disabilities.

It’s been an amazing week for all of our Care and Retail specialists.
Creating Kindness

In their own words...

“The team at the Salvation Army is working hard to organize the store. The supervisor is loving our help and the customers are impressed with our politeness… and the tech crew now knows how to colour-coordinate their closet!” ~ Gestny

“Today we’re making an even bigger impact, now that they know we’re here!!!” ~ Pheasant

“Everyone was having a great time. We even sang Happy Birthday for a woman! Most people reacted in the exact right way- with huge smiles!” ~ Alex V.

“Tech and retention teams are hammering it home at the food bank and the CHUM Christmas Wish donation depot! We have competition @ CHUM with 15 Bell folks who just started 2day!” - Sameer

Our Random Acts of Kindness will continue through the weekend, and we invite you to do something to make someone smile this weekend, too!

For a company who's supposedly foreign owned, you sure make Canada proud...

They don't have any employees in Ottawa (yet), so they can only do this stuff in teh cities where they've hired staff (Toronto, Mississauga, Calgary).

It's great what WIND's doing. They are keeping their employees productively employed, while getting their name out. I imagine it's a great team building exercise as well. So when they do launch, you have a team that's already used to working together and morale is high.

This gives me hope that this company is truly different from the others.

Okay, now Wind has touched a little bit closer to home. Now you have helped at Community Living Toronto. You have helped out with people that don't even have the capacity to become your customers (except the workers).

You have made me even more really want to come over to Wind. You have no idea how much your helping out people with disabilities means to me.

    Thank you.

I would like to see your random acts of kindness continue after your start date. Make it a permanent thing somehow.

Wind is different. Wind does care.

    Thank you.
