We face a disappointing decision by the CRTC, one which has serious implications for competition in Canada. Since this journey began, the support from our community members has inspired me, and will continue to motivate all of us at WIND as we pursue all options to bring change to the wireless industry in Canada.
We are not deterred. We are exploring different paths. And with your support and voice, we will find a way.
We know the Government of Canada, Industry Canada, and the people of Canada are all keen to have real wireless competition. We know there’s a need for a new kind of offering in the Canadian marketplace because we’ve heard you, Canadian consumers, tell us so, and also because we are Canadian consumers ourselves. We aren’t satisfied with the current level of competition being offered in the marketplace, and we want to launch a service that meets our own expectations as wireless users.
We’re determined. We have built a strong network and a great team of more than 500 people. We are ready to bring competition. In the coming days we will be evaluating what options we have. The Canadian consumer took a hit yesterday, but competition will come.
Very happy to hear you are not deterred, Ken. You have the support of your community, the Canadian public and technology lovers across the globe.

It's truly unfortunate that the CRTC made the decision they did, but the hunger for competition will live on.
Try as the incumbents might, they won't be able to stop the game from being changed.
This is encouraging news Ken, and I'm sure that whatever decision the company comes to in order pursue, that it comes swiftly. Many Canadians voicing their opinions here and on popular news sites since last night are desperate for change.
Restructure, make it happen, play by the rules this time. Ask someone big (One of the Big Five banks) etc to get onboard with you guys then. I feel bad for the people that got jobs there and waiting for launch, it takes them a step back during these recessionary times.
I'm selfish because I wanted to see a network for the Nokia N900 launch, but I feel now for the people who probably all left good jobs to join you.
Take care of your employees, they are important.

You have not only the support. This week i hope many people will do the same thing as me and will contact their local Member of Parliament to make pressure on the goverment to relax rules. If it isn't working, I don't have much money but if we have to make that company a Real Canadian one, i'm the first to invest. I don't want a good company be killed by any of the Big 3!
