Tony I am very happy that you guys are able to launch. I've been a cellphone enthusiast, and Telus fanboy for years. I am happy to see that Wind will be launching hopefully before Christmas and I promise that I will be in a Calgary store on day one and give your service a shot! I'll be a Wind Guinea Pig lol
Congratulations Tony!!!!. I'm really touched by your hardwork, determination and humbleness. Sure its a milestone but it's not the Wind's destination. First impression is the last impression. If you want to be a successful businessman then WIND must WIN the hearts & minds of the customers.

Did some scans with my N900 today and I can see WIND everywhere that I need it to be. I'm ready whenever you are.
Congrats - thrilled by the decision:)
Looking forward to hear more great news and achievements in 2010 :)
Cheers

I live in Fort McMurray, Alberta, how can I sign up for WIND? It would be nice to sign up over the phone or internet. I am sick of my current wireless company. My phone bills usually range from $200 to $1050 a month at one time, no I didn't call over seas, just Vancouver and Toronto. Also evening plans start at 9pm so I have to pay extra fees to get started at 5pm or 7pm. I have to pay extra fees for free incoming calls at all time and have to pay many different extra fees. If I want to get out of the contract then it is another $400 and I did pay for that when I sign up a number for my sister and she wasn't using the phone anymore so they charged me for getting out of the contract.
I cannot wait to sign up with WIND as this will make my situation better than the one I am locked up with right now. Thank so much WIND for coming to Canada:))) Do I have to go to Calgary to sign up for the service or can I order the device over the phone or internet then activate at my own home? That will make things a lot easier or even if you are planning to come to West Edmonton Mall that would be great as my family is planning to be there in late January, 2010:)
Competition is great for customers and great for business. Monopolies only breed mediocrity and complacency. Glad to see you on the Canadian business scene and look forward to your experienced team bringing value and innovation to the market. Thank you Tony Clement and the Govt for having the vested interest of the consumer this time. A breath of fresh air.
Hey Tony;
You're welcome! I eagerly await your expansion into new markets. I've held off renewing 3 contracts just for you and will be adding 4 numbers to your system as soon as you're available in my area. Go WIND Mobile!
Thank you Tony for not giving up when things got too hard. I know you will do great and mountain will be too high for you.
When the wireless spectrum auction was going on I kept a close eye on it and have been anticipating this for what seems like forever. Like many, many Canadians, I am still tied into my contract with my current provider and that plan is a family plan of 3 phones. I can tell you that if you guys even come close to providing the plans I'm seeing here, it doesn't even matter what my current provider offers me when the end comes near, I will be jumping ship faster than you can blink an eye. To me it's not always about price, it's about integrity. I was a Shaw employee when they launched DPS and finally brought competition to Telus and I will never forget how Telus scrambled to retain their customers when that happened but it was too late, the damage was done. The biggest argument my customers and I had was, "why could you not offer this to me during the whole time that I was an existing customer?" "Why is it only now that you can do this for me?" Congratulations Wind, keep it up and you will surely see me soon!
