I have some good news to share: we’ve launched our stores! Well… at least some of them. Before you get too excited, the bad news is that we’re not selling anything. No… really.
You may notice a few of our WIND kiosks inside Blockbuster locations in the GTA and Calgary. Why do we have people standing in kiosks when we’re not selling, and we can’t talk about what we’re going to sell, or when we’re going to sell the stuff we can’t talk about? Because they were there: the kiosks were built and our teams were trained and good to go.
So what else were we going to do with them? We could have wrapped them inside big gift bags, but then the Blockbuster staff would be inundated with questions about the newly installed, mysteriously festive décor. We could have left them unwrapped in the middle of the stores, but again, more questions. So we decided it made the most sense for us to answer the questions and engage in the conversations.
So come by and say “hi”… and join us watching the paint dry (you’ll understand when you get to a location).
Excellent. I think that's a great idea. This way we can talk to the Wind staff and say hi. We can get to know the "Wind customer experience" first hand.
Chris, maybe you could sell Wind products such as hats and jackets though....

Not something I can say I'd deliberately seek out and look at, being that the Blockbuster locations tend to be rather spread out, but very cool to know that the team is out in force for people to stop by and say hi.

It's all up to Industry Canada now. Wind should keep up the PR. It's a very good idea to launch some of the Kiosk stores. Keeps the pressure on Industry Canada.
As per FEE-DOE you have to sign a contract to get good customer service! This has to stop. It's time for change-good change, not the same old thing!
"As per FEE-DOE.." that dog was taken out back and shot a few years ago.. It's only through bait and switch that anyone thinks that brands still alive.. to paraphrase Aerosmith "that 'dog' done died.."
