"And we’re not charging for fictional things like system access fee, 911, … gravity, … oxygen,"
Good one but don't give them (the competitors) any ideas!
I'm getting all giddy waiting for you to release your plans!
Hurry up Q4 2009/ Q1 2010!!
This looks very promising...
I would offer at least 5 types of plans:
1- Voice/text only
2- Data only (ex. 3G USB keys)
3- voice/text > Data
4- Voice/text = Data
5- Voice < text/Data (for heavy users like me)
You are not telling me enough information!
I'm contemplating to renew my service with my current wireless provider or waiting to see what deal I can get from Wind!
I can only wait if I get some details!!!! Price points!? Handsets!? Plans!?
Sorry Wind! I want to wait but I need a phone!!!!
Chris what have you done? You've put the excitement back into the waiting! This is just a little glimpse of what WIND holds.
As I was reading I thought "this guy is just beating around the bush" but once I finished reading your post I realized you gave a lot of information.
Thanks for the update. The cellular future is bright once again.
He says marketing is dead. Wind is the only new entrant that has been marketing. They had wireless soap box and now this site. these are all marketing tools, they have been marketing to us for a year now. I dont know why he is saying marketing is dead if his company has been doing it a lot ( a year). I hope his company does not lie like how he is.
Thanxs for listening! Wind Mobile is the first wireless company to actually HEAR us. I am looking forward to your launch.
Once Telus is done trying to ATTACK you, they can start working on improving their service. You are the role model for other wireless providers.
@hello (x2) :)
You have to read between the lines just a little. He says that marketing is dead, yes, but he is clearly saying that marketing as we've come to know it is dead. The type of marketing where companies don't listen to what their customers want, they TELL their customers what they want. In fact, they tell us we want what they have (whether it's true or not). What Wind Mobile (along with other savvy marketers) is doing is talking to us. Is that a form of marketing? Sure it is. But at least they are listening and they are (hopefully) going to give us what we want.
Is it a lie? Maybe just a bit. I'm not going to hold it against them though, because I understand the point they are trying to make :)
Does the fictional things include "Call Display and Voicemail" charges? Please don't make Canadians pay for those...
Those are NECESSITIES on a mobile... I rather pay extra for texting...
