Wind Away has been disabled - as per customer service, so I doubt you will see US Roaming for now.
@ mccanns:
"Wind Away has been disabled"
Only for USA?
I'm in Kitchener now with my "Hamilton" phone - it shows "Wind away".

“My old cellphone has a rotary dial . . . . .”
“My N900 is working! (Wind Away only for now . . . . ) “
Yes, but try and make a call. I am just going by what Wind told me...
Wind AWAY was disabled WITHIN the Home Zone.
Killing roaming will make this phone a paperweight for me quickly... I'll simply sell it to some sucker... then reverse the plan's prepaid cc charges for non-receipt of product. I'm not playing this game all the year thru.
just talked to some one at Wind, US roaming is still not in place, I'm going to call back on Friday to see if it is running, in the mean time I'm heading to the basement and grabbing an unlocked phone from the graveyard.
WIND Cares
The roaming has been disabled within the HOME zone. If you are traveling outside of the HOME Zone you will be roaming.
@vonfunk - The roaming agreements between the United States have not been set up as of yet so you would not be able to use your WIND phone in the U.S.
Sorry for any inconvenience
