WIND fans... sell your contracts!!! So I've been anticipating the debut of WIND into the market for the last 6 months at least. I can't wait to see a fresh face in the market (and I really hope WIND won't be a copy of already established companies). I can't wait to see real competition in the cell phone market. Canada needs this, we need competition, to lower prices and offer more freedom to customers. As soon as WIND launches, I am on board 100%. I really don't care if what is offered is not cheaper (although I would surely hope it is), I just want to support this new company who at the very least is trying to bring change. So to get to my point. All of you who are reading this post are either curious about WIND, anticipating WIND, or supporting WIND. So you already have a jump start on things, and to make it easier, here is what I suggest everyone does (this is what I did): sell your existing contracts. Get rid of it. Post it on kijiji, craigslist, or whatever. I did this thinking nobody would go for it. Sure enough I got about 10 hits from people interested in taking over my plan, and still getting hits. Sure if everyone does that, then there would be nobody to take take over those contracts. But you are here, on this website, reading this post, you have a leg up in the race. If you get rid of your contract, when the time comes to switch to WIND, you will be worry free and contract free. If you really want to be on board as soon as you can, then this is the way to do it. Meanwhile, get yourself a temporary plan with no contract. This is what I did, and now I'm free. I hope you all do this. This is my 2 cents. Thanks R PS Sell your contracts!
sell your contract? if wind is so great why would they not get a wind contract. fact is you have no clue what wind will offer. I understand you are tired of the bs from the big 3. We all are my friend. Wind has to come out with plans before anyone in their right mind would jump ship. You remind me of the kid thats all excited at christmas to get a G.I. Joe... but you got a G.I. Moe. find out what wind has to offer and go from there. plain and simple. BTW TOR's are being looked at now so any juicy credits you may have had can be removed. So buyer beware. shorter contracts sure saf probably low end phones. for sure.. no iphone no blackberry no comment on corp plans.. they have the plans in plce, they know what phones they will offer.. when they get ready to launch we will see what happens until then its a wait and see game. funny how wind will not put up a FAQ on what is fact or fiction. as we all know they can say 1 thing and do another.. its what the big 3 do will wind follow suit.. looks like they will..
