Do you pikc your phone and then pick a carrier?
Or do you pick a carrier and then pick a phone?

I picked the N900, and then went with WIND since it had the right 3G frequencies.

    how about yourselves?

I'm a bit of both... I wanted the N900 (loved my N810) but hemmed and hawed for a while because I didn't really want to go to Rogers. Then Wind did launch and I bought the N900 and was happy.

Then I recently decided to get a Nexus One and had a choice... again I picked the Wind-compatible one (apparently also works on some other carrier, but who cares about the US ;) ) but that makes sense since I'm already signed up with Wind...

And I'm still happy... so far I think I like the N900 better... but it's only been a couple of days.

Gimme unlimited voice and unlimited text, then I'm good to go... Phones come and go, but the plans will make or break your bank!

It's always about the phone, the company should just provide a competitive service, for voice and data. The phone in my books is most important. My N900 is still amazing, 3G always dropped with WIND, I'll give them another month until they fix their issues.

Phone centric. I have a Nexus One. I chose Wind. But if Mobilicity has a more stable network and better prices, I might consider switching.
