What do you think chances are that WIND Mobile will have a handset which can accommodate two SIM's?

Way back, in the olden days, the cell phone I used had two NAM's (Number Assignment Modules).

Wouldn't it be sweet if I could keep my current cellular number (which I know I can), but ALSO port my landline number to WIND Mobile at the same time, and cancel my Bell landline?

Would (could) that work? Thanks for any insights!

Hey pastel: You're too quick on the draw.
As you know, you can do no formatting in the original post (no paragraphs, no new line etc.)
But you got in between my "Opener" and the actual question.

    Anyway: give me an answer . . . .

    Cheers!

I've noticed that there aren't a great deal of dual sim phones on the market that are made by major companies. I've not actually seen one over here.

Once they start making Chinese knock offs for the AWS spectrum then you'll have no issues getting a dual sim phone. A genuine iPhome or Mokia. The knock offs aren't bad provided you know what you are getting into, they're not the greatest but they aren't terrible.

It could work but I doubt you would want it. For two sim cards you need two plans anyway. What you could do is get one plan for Wind Mobile and sign up for a service that forwards your calls.

I recommend you sign up with http://freephoneline.ca/ it's free but if you want to bring in your number their is a $20 charge and they can forward all your calls. So what you should do if you want to get rid of your home phone line is sign up for a Wind Mobile plan and get a freephoneline account and thats it.
