Why is caller ID ALWAYS ...

Why is caller ID ALWAYS extra and NEVER bundled with a plan!? So stupid!

    I definitely agree. It always annoys me when things that should just be there don't come bundled. Every plan, regardless of what it is, should at least have Caller ID, some kind of Basic Voicemail and all your usual x11 (ie. 411, 911, etc) amenities.

    Seriously, how much extra does it cost the Telco to put Caller ID on a line?

    Stupid? I'd say it's smart. They do get more money out of you this way, don't they? Now why do you pay for it is another matter...
