How are we doing?

So I'm thinking...

    How's it going? Actually, I started to look at my posts and noticed Ron had already answered the question for me. It had to do with my Blackberry and weather or not it would work on WIND's system. Apparently it won't. But if you have some time to chat, there is some other things I would like to get your point of view on.

    Sorry about that. I got distrated. I don't know if you are away, but I posted a question on Howard's Forum about what people really thought the issue was as to why Globalive was refused by the CRTC. I asked was it the law? What it because they weren't playing fair? OR was it because the incumbents influenced the CRTC's decision? I was just curious what you thought about that. I mean after all. You sure do seem to know a lot about the issue.

    Well I noticed that you didn't comment on the thread. I know you and I like to spar a bit, RJ.

    But isn't foreign expertise/best practices a good thing? In my opinion, If WIND can run a better shop because of it, that will only benefit the incumbents as they'll also work towards eliminating any deficiencies. In the end, the industry becomes better.

    I noticed you didn't have an issue with foreign debt or you weren't terribly crazy about the CRTC. But I heard someone say the 65% equity does not mean ownership and/or control. CRTC approved the Canwest Goldman Sachs deal where Goldman had 65% of the total equity, 33% of the voting shares and 67% of the non-voting shares. So how is Globalive different???

    You can not believe that it is because the big 3 did not want them to compete??? So why do you think it was that Telus wrote a letter requesting a public review. I mean it seems kind of strange for them to request something so out of the ordinary. Then to have the CRTC submit to such a request??? I wonder about that. I wonder if you can shed some light on that???

    @Rockjock

    Do you think Tony Clement will make a positive decision for Wind or not? Do you have any reasoning?

    WOW RJ... you seem to know your stuff. So you say someone didn't invest in their own company??? I find that hard to believe. I know in my little world when I go for a bank loan, I don't necesarry show all the assets, but I need to show a certain amount to get approved.
