So far things are a rumor, but Unlimited plans and network congestion seems to go hand in hand. Is Wind ready for a network onslaught, can this new network handle it? I'm sure the likes of P2P will be throttled, but if more people sign on with the believe of an all you can eat buffet and laptops are in on the action and tethering desktops as well then this makes me concerned about the integrity of the network. The technology to me regardless of make or brand has limitations ... it is 3G not LTE. Is Wind ready to open Pandora's box on this?
It's more of a concern of network integrity. Will things hold if people begin replacing there internet connections for Wind? The USB stick internet would deliver speeds that are faster than landline ... and landlines clearly have more advantages over a wireless connection. 3G I don't think support an entire neighborhood on a single tower, because of the mobile vector that is the medium ... a person is expected to hop from tower to tower creating a balance. Now what we'll have is something comparing to a faucet left on all day on one tower.
