I notice that as well, that lack of android is a total let down. But i dont think we can expect so much from the get go. I'm currently rocking a HTC Hero unlocked (rogers) and I dont think WIND should wast their time with the Magic or hero. I think they are better off going for the android 2.0 phones such as a DROID equivalent, Nexis one, HTC legend, or even something that has a snapdragon/ tegra processor.

I'm sticking with rogers for now until a good android based phone is avaliable

Unlocked phones are allowed on the WIND network, just bring it into a kiosk or retail location and they will make sure that the WIND sim receives a proper signal in your phone.
