- The promotion period ends on the earlier of: (a) the date WIND indicates by notice on it’s website that it is no longer offering this promotion; or (b) February 1st, 2012.
- This offer is only available for new activations on one of the following monthly price plans: Smart, Brilliant, Genius, and Oh Canada. It is not available with the Clever plan or Pay Your Way.
- When you activate with an eligible price plan during the promo period, you will receive one month free of our Infinite China, Infinite Singapore, Infinite South Korea, or Infinite Hong Kong long distance add-on ($20 value). Just tell us which you would like to add-on when you activate.
- After the first month, unless you contact WIND to cancel the add-on, you will be charged the regular rate of $20/month for the Infinite Long Distance add-on.

Terms and Conditions – Lucky “8” Phone Numbers:
- A limited number of phone numbers that feature one or more “8’s”will be made available in accordance with these terms and conditions in all regions in which WIND provides service during the period commencing on January16 and ending February 1, 2012. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, we will refer to these as “Lucky 8 Phone Numbers”.
- In order to be eligible to be assigned a Lucky 8 Phone Number, you must sign-up for one of our Infinite China, Singapore, South Korea, or Hong Kong long distance add-ons with an eligible WIND voice plan.
- The “Lucky 8” phone numbers will be issued on a first come first serve basis and have no retail value. There will be a minimum of 500 Lucky 8 Phone Numbers available nationwide.
WIND Mobile Lucky Number Contest
January 16th, 2012 – February 1st 2012.
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
1. CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest begins at 9:00 AM January 16th 2012 Eastern Time ("ET") and ends at 11:59 PM ET on February 1, 2012 (the "Contest Period") at the WIND™ Mobile stores at the Pacific Mall and China Town Centre in Toronto (collectively, the “Participating Locations” and each a “Participating Location”).
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority in that Province as of the date of entry. Excluded from eligibility are employees, agents and sales representatives of Globalive Wireless Management Corp. (“WIND™ Mobile”), their advertising agencies, promotional agencies, fulfillment houses and prize suppliers, each of their respective parent, affiliated and related companies, suppliers of the materials and services related to this Contest, and members of the immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households (whether or not related) of such employees, agents and sales representatives.
3. HOW TO ENTER
Eligible participants may enter the Contest by activating service with WIND Mobile and signing up for the WIND Mobile “Infinite China, Infinite Singapore, Infinite South Korea, or Infinite Hong Kong” Long Distance Add-On during the Contest Period.
4. HOW TO WIN
Winners will be drawn at random by February 15, 2012 from entries submitted during the Contest Period.
A. PRIZE DRAWS AND CHANCES OF WINNING
There will be 2 initial draws held—one for entries from each Participating Location. Chances of winning will depend on the number of entries at the applicable Participating Location received during the Contest Period. If a draw in a Participating Location results in a winner being selected who declines to accept the prize, a further draw or further draws will be held among entries at the Participating Location until the selected entrant elects to accept the prize (and satisfies the conditions described in these terms and conditions).
B. TO WIN A PRIZE
Before being declared the winner each selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered in store by a representative of WIND™ Mobile. Each selected entrant will also be required to complete a written declaration and release (the “Declaration and Release”), releasing WIND™ Mobile, their advertising agencies, promotional agencies, fulfillment houses and prize suppliers, and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, partners, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with this Contest, or the use, misuse or possession of any prize.
Failure of selected entrant to provide any required proof of eligibility, the Declaration and Release, failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or other non-compliance with these Official Contest Rules, may result in disqualification, forfeiture of the prize and, at WIND™ Mobile’s sole discretion, selection of an alternate eligible entrant who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner.
5. PRIZES
A. PRIZE
There are two (2) Prizes available to be won, each consisting of the right to convert the WIND phone number assigned to the winner on activation to a phone number ending with the digits “8888”. The prizes have no retail value.
PRIZES MUST BE ACCEPTED AS AWARDED. THE PRIZES MAY NOT BE SOLD, TRANSFERRED AND ARE NOT CONVERTIBLE TO CASH.
B. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS
WIND™ Mobile makes no representations or warranties, and disclaim any implied warranties, with respect to the Prizes. Winners are solely responsible for all costs not specifically identified above as included in the prize, including the costs of maintaining services with WIND Mobile. Limit: One (1) prize per entrant.
6. PERSONAL INFORMATION
WIND™ Mobile and its authorized agents will only use and disclose the personal information you provide when you enter the Contest for the purposes of administering the Contest unless you have given permission for WIND™ Mobile to contact you in the future to provide you with information about WIND™ products and services. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to WIND™ Mobile's use of his/her name, city/province of residence, and likeness in any advertising and publicity WIND™ Mobile may conduct relating to the Contest in any media or format, whether now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time or times in perpetuity, without further compensation or notice. 7. RIGHT TO VOID/TERMINATE/SUSPEND/MODIFY
Any ballots used in this Contest which have been tampered with, mutilated, altered, forged, reproduced, are illegible or which contain other errors will be void. WIND™ Mobile reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation if, in WIND™ Mobile's sole opinion, any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Contest Rules.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Winning a prize is contingent on fulfilling all the requirements in Paragraph 4B. above. All entries become the property of WIND™ Mobile and will not be returned or acknowledged. Mass entries, automated entries, entries submitted by third parties, and any entries or prize claims that are late, incomplete, fraudulent, illegible, unidentified or delayed will be void. All entries and prize claims are subject to verification. By entering this contest, entrants agree to abide by these Official Contest Rules. Decisions of WIND™ Mobile and/or the contest judging organization will be final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. WIND™ Mobile reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Contest and/or Contest Website, violates the Official Contest Rules, or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND WIND™ Mobile RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT WIND™ Mobile, THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT, RELATED AND AFFILIATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING AGENCIES, PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, FULFILLMENT HOUSES AND PRIZE SUPPLIERS, AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, OWNERS, PARTNERS, SHAREHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES (COLLECTIVELY, THE "RELEASEES") HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY RESULTING FROM: A) A PRIZE, INCLUDING THE ACCEPTANCE, PARTICIPATION IN, MISUSE OR USE OF THE PRIZE; B) ENTRY OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST, OR C) ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PERSONALITY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY.
Without limiting the foregoing, the Releasees shall not be responsible for: (a) any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest; (b) the theft, destruction, loss or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (d) printing, distribution or production errors, and any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise; or errors or omissions contained herein.
