You have your network in the gta kind of according to your coverage map but the sad thing is im less than 1 km out of the coverage map :(

Its a gsm network so you should be able to use an iphone if u pop the sim into it

You guys have to understand its not easy doing this. It takes months just to get licenses to be able to setup the AWS system. The gta isnt like toronto theirs not much places to setup AWS's. That's why most of the big 3 uses MMDS system cause its easier to setup. Though it gives less reception :S. Wind mobile is trying to revolutionize the canadian wireless system by using aws. 1000 aws spectrum is more powerful then 100 towers. those guys who are having problems never checked the coverage maps thats why there having problems. My friend has a wind phone and he has no problem in most of toronto and most of gta. Look at the map it shows what there building in 2010 alot more coverage. Its not easy nor is it cheap to build a network

theyre probably going to fix it asap. It takes time. It cant be done in 1 minute. One of the transmitters are broken or something. Try a rogers or telus phone at the same exact spot it most likely wont work either. Queen and young has alot of big buildings , free wifi hotspots, and alot of radio interference so yeah :S.

Its cheaper to buy a phone + get the ultimate data plan and just tether it :D. It 50$/month compared to the usb 55$/month though the usb one is more convenient

Well I was at my house when I checked it.

Rogers will tell you anything to get you as a customer. I get 1 bar in 80% of the area with rogers and I live in the gta. All my phones, my unlocked tmobile g1, blackberry pearl, and my lg vu get 1-2 bars in most areas

you have to understand it usually says up to 7mbps on winds site that means your not guaranteed 7mbps.

They are getting paid by sponser to write that. They are saying its 20$ extra for canada wide long distance, voicemail, and unlimited text when 10$ extra gets you all that. So the total is coming to 80$/month which is still cheaper than rogers and bell. Also they forgot rogers 6.95 system access fee + 0.50$ 911 fee and a couple more fees

Wind plan inst expensive. its just 5$ more than any other carriers but look what you get. You get 10x bandwidth dedicated + unlimited data @ random speeds.

texting should stay at 10cent or 5$/monthunlimited but calling should be 15cents. So 100 minutes equal 15$/month pretty much. 15 cent is pretty cheap compared to rogers which is 35cent

The 35$ data is perfect for most users. The no 911+system access fees + no tax(I think only for prepaid) makes up for it. The sap browser is garbage and people only use 50mb max so yeah. I think wind should add a 1gb and 2.5gb plan

The wap browsers are poorly created. Rogers limits wap speeds to 256kbit/sec compared to wind 7mbps
