For all current Rogers and Fido customers who are in a contract, your lucky day is coming up. In April, Rogers and Fido are increasing the 911 fees from 50 cents to 75 cents. Know your rights. 1. Why scarborough such a problem! 2. I live on Neilson Road near tapscott and calls are dropped frequently. Infact while calling 611 call dropped 2 times. 3. From WIND HOME to WIND AWAY. Not sure if anyone has tested this out! Suppose You start answer/make a call while you are in a WIND coverage zone (your phone says WIND HOME) and while on the call, you drive out of the WIND coverage area to a WIND AWAY zone, do you get charged for any part of the call? Or does WIND only charge if the call was originated outside a Home Zone? Can anyone confirm that they were not charged at all? Hey WIND! I just activated my new phone Nokia 5230 and I am amazed with your service. I have a small annoyance with my phone and I would appriciate it if you could help me. Whenever I tap or press a button on my Nokia 5230, it vibrates and I would like to turn off the vibration. FYI to owners of the Nokia 5230 who are not on a Data Plan. It is possible to download apps from the OVi Store onto your PC. Read through the following forum thread. I love to read well thought out comments from the good people of this forum. Personally, I believe that we haven't seen anything yet from any carrier (new or old). The new carriers will watch their counterparts to see what they have to offer and they will match and adapt as required or fail in the process. I wanted to see more accurate coverage maps, so I spent the last couple months working on an application (Android only for now) to log signal strength data, and upload it to a server. The server then generates coverage maps from the data.
