Although I mostly agree with you, because I have a similar plan with Bell, I know Wind will be improving their offerings on a weekly basis. Feel your pain guys and the soft launch may have been a good idea. However, Wind needed to get in on the holiday shopping season and lets no forget that they are NEW! Give them a chance. I'm sure they have a team of people who are addressing our issues on a daily basis and gathering insight from our posts. They will improve very soon...give it time.

Agree......I would also like to see a top 5 issue gauge representing the current top 5 issues that people are raising and the popularity percentage of those issues....take off the meaningless "favourite way to celebrate" gauge and replace it with something more relevant to your customers and your company.

I agree....I 've been without a phone contract since last Nov. and I'm just waiting for Wind to fix the bugs before I jump in. One thing for sure, I'm going to wait as long as it takes, because I'm not renewing with Big Blue period. Even though they are offering me $200.00 credit for another 3 yr. term. I know the wait will be well worth it. I still think Wind will rule at the end of day and I look forward to Wind and it's service committment to Canadian consumers.

I'd love to know if Wind would still honour the flat rate plan and not charge the roaming fees. And how would they know if you were really in the Home Zone for the entire month when you get the roaming charge? I don't mind being charged roaming fees if I'm out of the "Home Zone", but it seems a lot of people are getting charged roaming fees in the Toronto core area and that's only if their phone actually works to roam!

Realfeedback....great post. It's posts like yours that are constructive. I can see problems with the phone network in the "Away Zone" areas, but in Toronto core!!?!?!?!?! Trottie...point taken, but we should be encouraging all types of posts regardless of the content, when it relates to Wind and it's entire service delivery scheme. I do understand your statement and position, but having a good customer rep experience is better than a bad customer experience. The network, billing and phone issues are all very well known and I we have been asked many times in the past to be patient. A good customer rep experience makes the whole waiting period a little more tolerable is all I'm saying. Good post guys...very constructive comments...It shows you care about Wind!

Stephanie a Wind online rep told me you can set your phone to only work on Home Zone coverage, so you're not billed for roaming on the other Big 3's network.

AlexL which phone do you have? You know you can set the phone so that it doesn't roam and you only have it work within the Home Zone region. I would not want to be billed for roaming when I've been making calls within the Home Zone!

I have three members of my family who will sign with Wind in a New York minute, once we are assured of quality network service. Well Canadianman16, I've been on this community since day 1 and I've been a major supporter of Wind since day one (day 1 being April 2008). So, I decided to use the official Wind employee logo as my pic. Needless to say it didn't go over very well with Wind, so they asked me to take it down and I did immediately. That's it. CALFLAM...no worries. I know the frustration, but know that a month from now you and I(I'm in Toronto core) are going to be laughing with 100% service and massive monthly savings in our pockets. The band is auctioned off by the government. Wind, Public and Dave all bid on a certain frequency spectrum the government is offering. Once a company like Wind wins that spectrum, they get the frequency band associated with that spectrum. Luckily, Wind bid on the type of AWS spectrum which is the newest and most advanced. The new full featured phones are coming guys. I too would love a touch screen slider. I'm a real big fan of HTC HD2 and the HTC Touch Pro 2. However, they will never be offered at Wind because they are not compatible with Winds AWS 1700 band frequency. But I would love to see a comparable touch screen slider!! In the meantime, I doubt that Wind's accounts payable department will argue with your bill issue when you raise it with them. dwayne, good point, but in a recent post a customer posted that they were having problems with their phone and needed for business purposes. I won't expand on whether or not it's a good idea to transfer your "business" line to Wind, all I'm saying dwayne is that not all cell users share our sentiment. But I'm with you dwayne 100%.
