- design a new phone (that's compatible) - recertify the phone (won't happen overnight) - sell few thousand - try to recoup the millions spent to bring compatible phone to market carriers will need to commit to lots of volume before Apple spends upfront capital

Maybe Wind will look at all the competitors and go $0.01 below the lowest provider, just like most other businesses that give a lowest price guarantee. There is a huge amount of network infrastructure that needs to go up, and it's not free. The big three already have their systems up, in a way they could undercut Wind's pricing when and if it is ever announced. I came here looking to see Wind's offerings, but it's just a bunch of people trying to generate interest. So far reading this site, it's all hot air, hopefully my plan will get cheaper ...
