I want to take advantage of the $150 Porting Credit. What do I need to know?
This is an exclusive offer that is available to new customers who sign up for an Always Talk or Always Shout plan, and bring their number over to WIND.
This offer is available to initiated activations and ports from all carriers between July 15, 2010 and September 15, 2010, and completed by September 20, 2010.
The $150 credit will be applied in $25 installments across 6 months, starting September 23, 2010. In order to be eligible for this offer, your account with your previous carrier must be active and in good standing at the time of the monthly credit check.
This credit has no cash value and can be applied to WIND services only; it is not refundable if you leave WIND. WIND services include plan fees, add-on fees and/or pay-per-use fees.
I purchased and activated my WIND phone just a few days before the Rebate promotion launched. What can you do for me?
If you purchased a WIND phone and activated a WIND account between August 6 and 13, 2010 you are eligible for this rebate. Complete the rebate application form before September 15, 2010. If your application is complete and approved, your rebate cheque will be mailed to the address associated with your WIND account.
I purchased my WIND phone at a BlockBuster Take-out location where they did not record my name and address at time of purchase. Can I still qualify for the rebate?
Yes, if you purchased a WIND phone at a BlockBuster Take-out and complete all the other rebate offer requirements, you will qualify for the rebate. If you purchased your WIND phone at a WIND kiosk, store or dealer, you MUST ensure your name and address are recorded with your purchase.
Where do I find the information I need to submit for my rebate application?
I submitted a rebate application a while ago, when will I receive my money?
Rebate cheques will be mailed 10-12 weeks following the end of the promotion so, if your rebate application is approved, you should receive a cheque in early December, 2010. Your rebate cheque cannot be reissued and must be cashed within 90 days of when they were issued.
Someone gave me a WIND phone and I activated it in the promotion period. Can I get a rebate?
No sorry, the rebate is only available to you if you are the original purchaser of the phone.
Can I get the rebate if I activate my WIND phone online?
Sure. Welcome to WIND! When you activate your account online, be sure your name and address match the name and address you give on your rebate application form and you should be all set.
How does the Everybody WINDs promo at special events work?

The Everybody WINDs promotion gave you 50% off your plan fees for six months if you activated a Pay Before or Pay After Chat, Always Talk, Always Shout, or Infinite Laptop plan at any of the above special events.
I brought my number over to WIND before May 4, 2010. How will the $150 credit be applied to my account?
THIS OFFER EXPIRED ON MAY 4, 2010.
How the $150 credit will be applied depends on when your brought your number to WIND. If you signed up for our $150 port-in offer between February 24 and March 31, 2010, the credit will be applied as follows:
The first installment of the credit will be applied starting on April 1, 2010
It will be applied in 5 monthly installments of $30 each
You'll receive two notification SMSs following the application of every monthly credit - the standard top-up confirmation SMS and a following SMS confirming the $30 top-up was one of the $150 monthly credits
The credits will continue to be applied, to a maximum of $150, as long as you're with WIND.
If you take advantage of this deal between April 1 and April 30, 2010, the credit will be applied as described above EXCEPT the first credit will be applied 45 days after you join WIND.
I referred friends as part of the Everybody WINDs promotion, what do I need to know?
THIS OFFER EXPIRED ON JUNE 30TH. REFERRALS MADE AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE
Until June 30th, any customer could refer a friend to WIND to get a free month of service (up to six months). Every time you referred a friend successfully, you would have received a confirmation text from us. Once we validate all referrals, you'll see adjustments to your account by August 15th.
If you or your friends change phone numbers or suspend your accounts, you'll lose the discount credits, so please check your balance regularly and ensure you have enough funds in your account before your billing date.
Your adjustments, when they're made, will stay in the account and will contribute to any future fees or services.
I'm on an Everybody WINDs plan (50% off my 1st six months), what do I need to know?

The 50% off is applied to your monthly plan fees only - add-ons and other services are not discounted.
I was at the Punjab Festival on August 29 and wasn’t able to get the phone/plan I wanted. Can I still get the special offer?
Yes, you can. The Punjab Festival was a busy day for us and we were not able to serve everyone who wanted to buy. Our apologies. To make things easier, you should have received a flyer at the event to bring to a WIND store. Just bring that flyer to any of the following WIND stores to take advantage of any of the Punjab Day Everybody WINDs offer which gives you 50% off your plan fees for six months if you activated a Pay Before or Pay After Chat, Always Talk or Always Shout plan at this event or at one of the stores below between Aug 29 – Sept 6, 2010. • Your account must remain active and in good standing to receive the discount. • If you change your plan within the 6 month discount period you will lose the 50% off discount. • Cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or plan unless otherwise specified.
